Training plans

  1. Open Training.
  2. Enter your goal race, race date and current fitness. A recent race result gives the best paces.
  3. Review the plan and confirm. Workouts appear on your calendar.

Generating a plan uses AI credits. See Credits & payments.

Each week, Pickpacer prepares the next week based on what you actually ran: what was planned versus done, your daily readiness check-ins (including resting HR and HRV if you log them) and the Strava activities you attached. Each week has a distance target and a time target, so your plan keeps up as your fitness improves.

A new plan usually takes a few minutes. You don’t need to stay on the screen. When it’s ready, the sessions appear on your calendar automatically and you get a notification and an email with the week’s program. If your profile has a Philippine mobile number, you also get it by text message.

How to split longer days into two sessions

Section titled “How to split longer days into two sessions”

If you train about 6 hours or more a week, the preferences step shows Split longer days into two sessions. Some runners feel more rested this way. Each session is at least 30 minutes, short days stay as one run, and long runs are never split.

Missed sessions, illness or an injury? Request a replan for the rest of the week. Review the proposed changes and accept them.

Each time the AI builds a replan, it uses one of your free weekly adjustments, or credits once those run out. This applies whether you apply the plan or not, and undoing an applied replan does not give it back. If the build fails or nothing needs to change, nothing is used. The screen shows the cost before you build.
